When “Keepin It Real Goes Wrong” So VERY wrong

It will take me some time to formulate my thoughts regarding this onslaught of terrorism from the Taliban against the Muslims. Between their existence being brought to my attention as a full out force “of change” in ‘96 to their resurface now, I will write about this group and how their actions have lead others to swing to the opposite extreme of feminism, and ‘freedom’ and the western belief of Muslim women as oppressed – when in reality, the whole damn country of Afghanistan is oppressed. A very large population of Muslims here are wholly ignorant of the fundamentals of their religion which explains a great number of the laws the Taliban instituted, and yet they have become a greater conjoining oppressing force. Ignorance and extremism. A father who can not protect his daughter from being raped or injured is oppressed. Likewise, the bomb that kills the only man and breadwinner in the home has oppressed the entire community as his family is now dependent upon them for their survival. Cultural and tribal custom that directly oppose the basic rights Islam has instituted, yet another oppressive force. Everybody wants to rule over Afghanistan. I can’t even write right now, please excuse me.

Right now, I’m just grateful of the reminder to be grateful to my Lord. And disgusted.
